Each track fizzes with energy, confidence, and a touch of mischief, capturing the chaos and charm of living loud. It’s not just a mixtape—it’s a statement. Bubble Pop is exactly what it sounds like: bright, bold, and ready to blow up.
Growing up in Canada, B’rolex brings a musical perspective shaped by the country’s underground rap scene. Growing up on artists like Pressa, TallupTwins, and Casper TNG, that gritty, melodic influence seeps into the flows and cadences throughout the project. But the sound doesn’t stop at the border—global icons like Young Thug, Future, and Lil Uzi Vert also have influence, fueling a futuristic, fearless sound that pushes boundaries and bends genres.

Drawing more energy from the underground SoundCloud rap scene, B’rolex taps into a raw, experimental space that thrives on authenticity/risk-taking. As a member of musical collectives Internet Trenches and Cheetah Boyz, with collaborators from California, Florida, and Ohio, B’rolex stays rooted in a creative community that constantly inspires to evolve and go harder. Staying close to the musical collective Roach Mafia has also played a role in shaping his sonic identity, helping him find a sound that feels both true and original. Musically and stylistically, artists like Gucci Mane and Lil Uzi Vert remain two of B’rolex’s biggest influences—icons who’ve helped shape not only his sound, but also his fashion and self-expression.

Bubble Pop, also influenced by pop music, embraces colourful, feel-good energy. That bright side comes to life in songs like ME, where playful confidence combines with catchy hooks. The album closer LexBro is a song bursting with animation and electric charm. It’s where B’rolex’s love for melody and movement shines, balancing the project’s harder edges with repetitive hooks of pure joy. With loopy, energetic tracks like Onix and Brolex, the artist begins to carve out a signature cadence that’s uniquely his—energetic and hypnotic. Melodic cuts like Run and Silly Crazy Life offer a breath of calm while expanding the boundaries of what a B’rolex song can be. Bubble Pop isn’t afraid to be weird, vulnerable, or wild—it actually seems to want to be exactly just that. One of the album’s standout moments comes on ONIX, where a sample of the Bop It video game voice exclaims, “Dude, what are you doing? There are no words.” It’s more than just a nostalgic sample—it’s a clever nod to moments in B’rolex’s life where others have questioned his choices, whether fashion, music, or overall lifestyle. By flipping that phrase into a part of the track’s energy, B’rolex turns judgment into art, owning the public’s confusion, and making it all part of his unapologetic identity. On the track Choo Choo, B’rolex raps, “Got like 4 chicks B’rolex monogamy”—a line that speaks to the alternate universe he lives in. In his world, the rules bend to his reality, and four women is just monogamy by B’rolex’s standards. On CN->NY, he reflects on the grind and growth with the line “B’rolex New York to Canada”—a nod to travelling for shows, chasing money, and expanding his reach across new cities and borders. A moment of storytelling stands out in LMFAE featuring Blunt Smokin MF, where B’rolex drops the line “Flexing in New Jersey walk around I’m finna pick your pocket.” It’s a slick, chaotic bar with real-life roots. “Okay so the story is me and David43 partied for like a week straight,” B’rolex recalls. “It was the morning I think we were just chilling outside of a gas station, when a homeless person walked up to us and asked if we needed directions to the homeless shelter—we knew we weren’t looking our best.” The lyrics and the moments blur together into the kind of wild, lived-in memory that gives Bubble Pop its edge and spirit.
