Maverick 2022 Burn. First set of Saturday, after a big first party of the festival on Friday night, never destined to be a dance floor set, I planned it to be the soundtrack to everyone's coffee and late breakfast as the monumental WoofTweet sound system infused the camp ground with life-giving bass.

Many people came up to me asking for a recording and sharing what they were doing while it was playing. One kooky fruit even said they fell back to sleep with it playing and woke 20 minutes later having enjoyed the most delicious dream. I can think of no greater praise.

This set was recorded in Capertee Valley, Wurundjeri country and I acknowledge elders past, present and emerging, especially my ancestor Diana Mudgee. This is Aboriginal land.

The name "Bodaishin" comes from the Buddhist philosophical idea which predominates in their thoughts, actions and feelings. It means the awakening of spiritual consciousness. He try to show this idea in his music every day, creating something that makes you feel, think, and awaken about anything. Born in Buenos Aires (1993), he started as a DJ in January 2015 in the United States. The next year he returned to Argentina and began his career also as a producer, because he needed to take his feelings out with his own music. 

 Influenced by several genres, he doesn’t like to limit himself to a single one. Mixing organic sounds with modern synthesizers, he will create an atmosphere full of deep and melodic vibes, enveloping you in a unique journey . he would like to welcome you to his deep melodic world.

This year his music was around the world, sharing desks with Facundo Mohrr, Volen Sentir, Filip Fisher, Jelly4thebabys, etc. Also he signed in labels like The Purr Music, Lump Records, Cafe de Anatolia, 3rd Avenue & more..

2020 is coming, and he is super excited to release his new music. This mix is going to show you something of what's coming. I hope you enjoy!

Ian started out as a DJ 33 (!) years ago!
His skills has brought him all around clubs and venues in DK and abroad.

Domestically, Ian has had his fingers in many a dirty pie.

- In the position as Music Manager for the now defunct internet radio station DV.FM, he handled promos and mixtapes from big labels and artists, as well as running 3 different radioshows in the duration of the station. DV.FM also has allowed him to be part of many great lineups, including warming up for the likes of Louie Vega, Simon Dunmore, Lenny Ibizarre, Can7, Bob Sinclar, etc. DV.FM also co-managed the Copenhagen Beachparty events 4 years in a row, with Ian co-planning the lineup, and playing for a crowd of more than 45.000 guests altogether in the three day duration.

- For the last 8 years up until '22, Ian also joined forces with the Copenhagen DJ, Producer and Eventmaker collective CPH DEEP, where he has been in charge of their radioshow, and been a part of planning (and on the lineup of) many a great event Culture Box, at KB18, at their own off-location raves called IG60, and been co-planners at RAW 2017 one-day four-stage festival, with Pan-Pot, Teenage Mutants, Thomas Schumacher, and many others, plus local heroes.

- Also, Ian is part of the WaxWarriors vinyl DJ duo with Benster, which has been runnning their own radioshow once a week for more than 400 shows, plus have had lineup spots all around Copenhagen. Plus, in 2017, they won a Danish Deejay Award in the 'Best Danish Radio Deejay' category!
