Since the year 2000 and born in Mexico City, Ian Rendón (also known as “Ian Hacker Gatling”) is a producer and DJ ventured into the genre of Hi-Tech Minimal. Influenced by the sounds of Boris Brejcha & Enrico Sangiuliano, Ian began to produce due to the connection with the sounds and textures that he already knew from EDM, seeking at the same time to innovate with the elements of the subgenre of techno. 

Ian’s goal with “Ian Hacker Gatling” is to innovate on the Hi-Tech Minimal scene through experimentation with vocals, because he considers that you can express things using only sounds caused by the human voice without necessarily singing; offering a more sober-sounding approach to the usual sound of the genre demonstrating it by having been supported by artists like Cristian Varela
