Had a good dig through the ol' record collection for this mix. Going back to the beginning of my residency at the Tube, playing in the upstairs bar before the Retro events, then doing the open and closing sets downstairs in the club. 
The first half is pure bar vibes. Full of deep, soulful house . Then about an hour and a half in the tempo gets cranked up a notch for the club half.
Mixed live in one take, on 2x Turntables & 2x CDJs. Full of records from lables such as Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Hard Times, Soulfuric, Henry St., Narcotic, Tribal, King St. AM:PM etc etc.

Ian has been DJ'ing for the last 15 years and plays a mixture of Deep & Jackin House.

We asked him what gets his music juices flowing.....

"I've always loved that 'Jackin' vibe which emphasizes the Chicago and Detroit music scene, listening to the likes of Justin Long, Chuck Daniels, DJ Heather & Frankie Knuckles just to name a few"

He first go into House music after seeing Derrick Carter smash at Back2basics back in 1995 @ The Pleasure Rooms, Leeds. Since then he's played on a regular basis for one of West Yorkshires top promotions Down 'n' Dirty around the north of England alongside the likes of Inland Knights, Lisa Loud & Buckley. With his Down 'n' Dirty buddies, they've rocked Back2basics, Sankeys & Distrkt Bar.

He's currently resident at 53 Degrees North Bar & Late Lounge in Halifax & Leeds.

"Its a wicked little bar with a great vibe to it. We've got some great residents who week on week out bring the best music to Halifax & Leeds. We've had the likes of Chuck Daniels, Satin Jackets & Lovebirds playing"
