There’s a strange clarity that hits you when you realize the person you almost walked away from was always home.
I wrote this song during one of those late-night loops — replaying every conversation, every small moment I didn’t know was love at the time. The gum pop. The glance. The half-smile when he thought I wasn’t looking. It wasn’t loud — it was steady. And I almost missed it.

This song isn’t about fairytales. It’s about real love — the kind where timing sucks, where doubt gets loud, but somehow… you still show up.

Writing it helped me stop running. Singing it helped me feel proud of us.
And sharing it? That’s me saying: if you're still wondering whether it was him — it probably was.

Something spoke deeply to me while listening to his Cloud, and after about a month of consideration he settled on this improvisational piano piece of mine, and worked to orchestrate it along the 'less is more' principle.
