A quick guest mix from Scarborough DJ, Steve Tout, full of some of his favourite classic Tech House tracks and Progressive House thumpers from his archives, mixed on a pair of Technics SL1210 mkII's. 

Steve got into dj'ing in the early 90's and is a lover of all things Techno & Tech House. He has played bars and clubs across the East Coast over the years and he still likes to delve into his record collection every now and then and spin a few of his favourites.

Episode 4 of the Techno Deliverance Podcast is my own guest mix for a local internet radio station dance show hosted by https://soundcloud.com/rooty1976 and was broadcast at 9pm on 18. March 2021.

All tracks are vinyl and mixed on 2x Technics 1210 mkII's and a Pioneer DJM 600 mixer and using a Olympus LS-12 Linear PCM Recorder to grab the audio.

Techno Deliverance Podcast 004 // Ian Robinson [Aycliffe Radio Guest Mix]

My first mix for Graeme Roote's show on Aycliffe Radio was full of modern techno tracks so I thought I'd go back to my roots for this one and play some of my favourite tunes that mean so much to me from my time as a teenager back in those hazy days. 

This mix is full of tracks from artists such as Evolution, Papillon, Karma, Black Riot & N'Joi and were all on the rave tapes that I had back in the early days, Tapes like DJ Sasha from Shelley's in Stoke and Mike Pickering from The Hacienda in Manchester.

The tracks used in this mix are mostly from 1990 & 91 and are a perfect example of the kind of music that made me fall in love with the scene so deeply that I still play them to this day ... those days are never to be bettered ... EVER !

Welcome to my Soundcloud page, official home to my live event & studio mixes. I am the curator of the Techno Deliverence Podcast, a mix series/podcast for  Techno mixes by myself aswell as some special guests.
I am also the founder/owner/resident DJ of the Back To The Rhythm brand which specialises in classic house & techno and prides itself on digging a little deeper than most into the archives of house history from the late 80's & the 90's. 

I spent my youth clubbing across the North East of England during the early and mid 90's and was fortunate enough to frequently attend a genuine German Techno night in North West Germany whilst living there during 1994 & 1995 cementing my love for the techno sound aswell as the piano, vocal and progressive house sound that was popular in the UK at that time.

Whilst entertaining dance floors across the North of England with a unique style of quality classic house I have been lucky enough to play along side such big names as Marshall Jefferson, Todd Terry, K Klass, Danny Rampling, Ian Ossia, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Alex P, DJ Vertigo, Rob Tissera, John Kelly and Jeremy Healy to name a few.
