A brand new ambient ballad mix of the original 'Sink Into Oblivion'  featuring Ian Tait on the lead guitar. The song is originally intended to be a Chillout and meditative , but Ian's guitar work has added an unexpected rock ballad flavour to the song !!. Hey Folks...as you guys know my Strat was in getting a complete overhaul recently as it had been out of action for a wee while....She's been playing beautifully,sounding great too! :)

Always loved the funky groove tracks from the 80's...usually played by ridiculously talented, geeky looking bands...you know the ones I mean...as the cameras zoomed in on them...their embarrassed smiles, lots of nodding to each other, the odd hand in the air to signal a change...anyways back to the music :)

Had fun doing this though I'm not too sure about the mix...it's not sitting how I'd like it to but it still sounds fun...Enjoy my friends :)

Hey Folks....I recorded this a couple of weeks ago,and like many of my "tracks" this was only supposed to be for Jam purposes....This one especially as it has one simple 2note,(Clue Is In The Song Title lol),repeated bassline for around 85% of the track...anyway I felt it was kinda atmospheric or something and added a couple of overdubs and clipped some lead, to make it "shareable" :)

Anyhooo...here it is...I hope you guys enjoy it :)

Was originally meant to be a vocal track,but couldn't get anything to sit right,so ended up just laying down a wee melody over the verses and lifting the chorus riff up a tad to fill it out! Hope you enjoy the track :)

Hey guys,I have been extremely fortunate in recieving a gift of a Yamaha Clavinova Organ....what a machine! I remember playing one of the earliest "Clavs" when I had a saturday job at Edinburgh Organ Studio....it was so ahead of it's time compared to many similar instruments....anyways,enough blethering....this is my first effort at recording from it...I laid down the drums,then double bass,then piano,a little baritone sax and finally the hammond style organ,all from the "Clav"....I had such a laugh trying to get my keys up to a recordable standard...hope you guys enjoy it...laidd down a rhythm track on guitar and then a couple of solo's to finish it all off....what a hooooot!!!!

Hey folks...more fun to be had with "The Clav" :) This track, I think, shows the versatility of the clavinova....see they're not just for old farts!!!! Ha :)

Each track was recorded live and in real time,sadly no quantize for the bass so excuse me as it's not perfect lol :) A couple of tasty guitar solo's should keep you rockers happy too,if the track really is too much to bear,just check around the 2min and 4min marks for the face-melting!!! :)

Hey...Thanks for stopping by, I'm sure I've got something in my "Track List" that you will enjoy...From Reggae to Heavy Rock via Blues and I've even got a Retro TV Theme in there :)

Besides being taught the basic chords at the age of eight I am completely self taught. Sadly this also means that I don't read music, relying on my "ear" to pick out lines/playing styles/tracks etc :) But hey...I get by ok...don't I??? :)

Born, Bred, Raised and Living in Edinburgh Scotland. I'm a family man and fully trained Head Chef who never lived up to his musical potential...I'm sure that must stand for a few of us...yeah?
