Another week and another moment of @tooslowtodisco brilliance. This time coming from longtime LV favourite, LA resident @Luxxury. Hello My Love is taken from an extremely sexy two track vinyl EP which drops on 21st May. 

Taking an AOR classic for inspiration here Luxxury shows his considerable talent with a trademark low-slung groove heavy bassline which powers proceedings while the sample works its earworm brilliance. If you are going to work in samples this is exactly how it should be done with grace and endless style.

This wonderfully constructed EP kicks off with the first track on the A-side - ‘I Don’t Know’. From the get go, this is a slinky, catchy funky number. The warm, all consuming bass line jogs along, aided by subtle guitar riffs that light up the melody. The chugging train suddenly breaks for an outrageous blues vocal - deep growls and female backing singers take control before the track launches straight into the stratosphere. A guaranteed dance floor bomb.

File Under Disco open the door to the modern Brazilian discothèque with a fabulous release from @Processman and Cady. After an introduction via a mutual friend DJ and producer Processman and solo artist Cady hit it off immediately and started making music the same day. The final piece in this exciting puzzle came when @dicky-trisco was passing through Salvador after playing the magnificent Mareh festival in Bahia. Processman was driving Dicky to a local hot spot in Pelourinho, and the first track he played in the car that night was ‘Adupé’

Dicky was immediately blown away by the track. The second track Processman played was ‘Sou Baiana’ another scintillating musical moment and a record deal was already in the offing and they hadn't even made it to the party yet.

A year later and this divine release is now about to land on @fileunderdisco with remixes from Dicky, Joutro Mundo, Processman and Razor-N-Tape's JKriv.
