Deeper Shade (Of House)

From the merrimack valley in Massachusetts, Ian James has been dabbling in the music world since he was a boy. Guitar was his first instrument and then in high school in the 90s he picked up the bass and played in the punk outfit What's in the Fridge?
 After the "Fridge" split up in '94, Ian formed an atmospheric  soundtrack duo called Shades of Mood with long time friend Marc Davey releasing two albums.
 In the early 2000's Ian began self producing music out of his home studio and began landing his songs in film and TV placements (Discovery Channel, DYI, Esquire Network, Animal Planet, NESN and others). 
In 2005 a new project known as Invasive: Skolfield or James released a one off album titled Remnants in 2006 with John Skolfield aka Skinny Goodman. 
From there Ian joined up on bass in the punk outfits SuperWickedAwesomeGoodGuys and Chanticlear before retiring from live performances. C
ontinuing on with his solo efforts as a recording artist Ian is still very much active in the local scene north of Boston and his songs are still reaching the world.
