Welcome to the second episode of Hakk i Plata

This episode is focusing on a genre that was, in its early days, an avant garde sound, but also came as a further development from all the minimal techno, glitch and house that flourished in Berlin and other cities containing well-known electronica environments, in the late 90's. This genre got the name, Micro house, which has short samples of many different instruments and vocals as its main characteristics, as well as smooth and simple loops that can go on and on; actually some micro house tracks last for 15-20 minutes with not much happening. 
It's hard to not come around the one and only Jan Jelinek, when one should talk about pioneers within this genre. And I'm proud to admit that he is taking a larger amount of tracks in this mix, which felt natural for me when the sound he created really defined what micro house was and still is (in my opinion).

I hope you will enjoy this mix and sit down to fall into the memory lane of historical electronica music. This is really a distinct and beautiful sound that should fit perfectly with the late autumn and coming winter.

Following up on our podcast series, we are very happy to welcome one of our very own, and dear friend, Alissa. 

Since we discovered her music, we absolutely fell in love with her distinctive musical taste, as well as a unique perspective towards her own musical direction, which at the same time is very distinct from the rest of the members of our collective. 

Alissa has shown a particular ability to create her own hypnotic spectrum of sound, mainly focused on minimal techno.

Iana Go is a multimedia artist, Visual and sound designer, and painter. She's also a curator and facilitator. She's known for her passion in music, painting, and psychology, which she combines through events, workshops, and festivals like Garbicz as a booker, Waking Life, Niemandsland, and now as a programming part of Pura Vida. You can find her on Instagram as @iana_go

While her main focus is curating experiences, music, and workshops, she also performs live with her collective Jam Gurus, blending synths and loops. 
She started her b2b with Doron Eisenberg, and continue her solo journey at the events and in her radio podcast Uroboros at komrad.net independent underground Radiostation. She also combines live painting and music in her project ARTibiotics.
Open to the new collaborations. 

Originally from Kyrgyzstan, her nomadic spirit shines through her art as she creates spaces for connection. As the founder of Uroboros ambient ritual and a music and event manager, she supports especially people with migrant backgrounds and FLINTA as well queer artists, offering them a platform in the event scene, where she's been active for years. Now, she's stepping onto the dance floors and festivals herself to share her passion directly with the audience.
