Samoan born, Mingo founded the I & I Tuala Reggae Band in 1987 with his brother John in New Zealand, and the group developed a National profile over several years.

I& I Tuala have played numerous festivals, events and venues across both sides of the Tasman, and Mingo has been pleasing tropical audiences for over 15 years.

The group have supported International artists such as UB40, Toots & The Maytals and Mad Professor, played festivals such as the Pacific Arts Festival, Cairns Festival and Reggaetown, and supported a variety of community events.
