After 15 yrs of battling demons, physical and mental abuses both self and non self inflicted. Ivan used his passion for music as a form of therapy and also a creative outlet to spread his message that no matter what traumatic things happen to us in our lives, we can always overcome. Hiding your pain inside and not confronting  it only feeds the beast. Ultimately it takes control, eats away at who you are and everything you love, until you're a shell of what you once were.

With a wide variety of influences from Nine Inch Nails and Pink Floyd, to Between the Buried and Me and Depeche Mode. Ivan draws from all types of different artists and genres to achieve his goal of expressing what he's feeling and the message he's trying to relate. 

"I don't care if it's Country, Pop, Metal and everything in between, I'm a fan of just music in general and whatever comes out is what comes out, I strongly believe that artist should not be held back by genre barriers and should be free to explore any avenues they so desire. Its when you conform to other peoples taste, that's when I have a problem"

The song Done and Over was written and recorded in April of 2021 for the Gear Gods song writing contest. Ivan is a strong supporter of REVV Amplification and also the Gear Gods online community. Ivan played all instruments, recorded and mix the song himself. 

" Its funny that I'm writing a song for a Gear Gods song writing contest, when I learned most of my recording techniques from their videos!"

"It gave me the drive to finally say "Enough waiting, this is a sign for me to start writing songs and recording, stop being afraid to put myself out there and speak my mind, even without a winning song just the opportunity to participate and have a reason to record a song is fulling enough and just the push I needed"  Ivan - 2021

As a result of the recent creative push, a full length album could possibly see a release in the winter of 2021, with live shows to possibly follow around the same time. Until then keep checking for updates with new song clips, photos and more!
