A selection of poems I amassed whilst I was supposed to be doing other things in a New Chanson style. Sort of Comi Tragedy parlour songs for underachievers everywhere. I wrote them all as poems first - often unstructured and free. When I came to set them to music, the Music changed the structure of the poem into a more songy form. The words from "Adorno" are all quotations from the works of  Theodor Adorno whose thoughts on Popular Culture seem more incisive today in a world battered by X Factor and Residents of Jupiter Got Talent
