"Passing Through" is an original country folk song about live, death, and traveling. Wrote after a road trip with a late friend, passing through was a theme of the adventure and the hard truth of a great friendship.

i feel the blood pouring out my nose 
and fall right splat my bright white kitchen floor
i wish that i was sometimes in the know
but right now i’m blindfolded walking straight into the doors
of the house where you first taught me how to love
i miss the days where we enjoyed being together
through the thick and the thin the scorching hot and freezing cold
i don’t know about you but i’m starting to feel weathered

the white tile becomes consumed with a massive red stain
