From London’s inner suburbs comes this next guest, a through and through veteran of UK techno whose touch has left a lasting mark on the world around him. Steve Bicknell’s early days were spent in the intoxicating worlds of dub, reggae, acid, DIY warehouse parties and pirate radio, an auspicious mix of references that would inspire him to make music of his own. After a string of residencies at the UK’s then most influential parties, he launched his own series with creative collaborator Sheree Rashit: LOST. These legendary gatherings brought together names like Plaid, Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, Robert Leiner, Basic Channel, and a wider array of future techno hegemons. This was swiftly succeeded with the duo’s launch of imprint Cosmic Records, whose triumph went on to spawn another three successors: LOST (early provider of Bicknell’s dancefloor sounds), Clubtracks (for Chicago-leaning fare) and ID(entity) (a channel for the work of well established music-makers who wanted to release under a secret alias). A nine-year pause in productions came to a halt in the mid 2010s with Steve’s most recent label, 6dimensions, an exploration in sound and the whole spectrum of human emotion. Finally, 2017 saw Steve team up with Luke Slater and David Sumner under the LSD sobriquet, a force for the creation of ‘lysergic machine music’, heavily danceable stuff (just ask ADE, Dekmantel, Awakenings). With a story as full and enduring as Steve’s there’s much to pull from, and only experience in the flesh could attest to the depth and scope of his musical evolution, but it’s clear that the voice he has honed has only become louder and more refined. It’s a techno that’s fully embodied, a blistering percussive barrage that invokes something profoundly human and fundamental. Bassiani Podcast 217 is just a taste of what Steve has to offer, a window onto a world of sound he’s meticulously crafted for over three decades: masterfully layered and piercing sounds that shimmer and relentlessly rise in lockstep with a formidable 4/4 beat.

Nørbak is Artur Moreira, born is the late nineties, in the North of Portugal. His devotion into making music begins early in his life, and since then, keeps working in his studio, day after day, discovering and developing his own sound, diving into Ambient, Experimental and mainly Techno. 

It all started in 2016 with labels such and Circular Limited and Illegal Alien, where he gave his first steps and since then he has been releasing his music on respected labels such as PoleGroup, Warm Up Recordings, Semantica, Modularz, Affin, Float Records and his sound has developed throughout these years focusing now more on the mental and physical side of Techno, where he finds the most comfort. 

In 2019 he joins the Portuguese independent collective and label Hayes as an active member, where with his label colleagues he’s pushing the new wave of contemporary Techno. 

With appearances in some respected clubs like Tresor, Lux Fragil, Gare Porto and Family Club he also feels supported by some of the most respected artists in the scene like Oscar Mulero, Jonas Kopp, Svreca, Dasha Rush and more. His future can only be brighter than what it is right now, with so many boundaries to achieve, discover, learn and cross.

Qòlin  es el A.K.A que le da vida al proyecto musical creado por Juan Carlos Duque, su estilo sonoro e identidad al momento de presentarse le han abierto rápidamente un espacio dentro de los diferentes colectivos del Oriente antioqueño, tanto clubs como raves han ido conociendo su trabajo y tiende a posicionarse como uno de los referentes de la región para el resto del país.
Su trayecto en el mundo de la música se remonta 10 años atrás cuando decidió aprender a dominar la guitarra debido a su fuerte inclinación por el género Rock;  luego de varios años en el género, fue interesándose por otras propuestas sonoras, y fue ahí cuando conoció la música electrónica. Hacia el año 2015 inician sus experiencias en raves y clubs del Oriente y Medellín, en donde se deja atrapar por aquel estilo de vida y decide iniciar su aprendizaje más allá de la pista de baile.

Su formación en e-concept academy le dio un estilo y personalidad musical enfocada en los sonidos contundentes, oscuros y progresivos dentro del género Techno y sus ramificaciones, sonido caracterizados por la línea de artistas como: Setaoc Mass, David Meisser, Developer, Luca Agnelli,  Rebekah, Oscar Mulero,  Lewis Fautzi, Mike Parker, entre otros. Se ha presentado con gran continuidad dentro del circuito local logrando entrar a hacer un gran debut en su primera cita con un dj internacional, #Psyk (España).
Su inquietud por el mundo dj le ha llevado a comenzar su proyecto sonoro de creación en donde ya se encuentra realizando tracks esperando encontrar un sonido autentico y que represente su visión de la vida dentro de la música electrónica, su objetivo es alcanzar los grandes label además de aportar en la consolidación del género en Oriente.
