This song was completely composed from the ground up, everything you hear is midi sequenced to my hardware synths/drum machines via FL Studio 10.
Do NOT confuse my version with the "U.S.U.R.A - Open Your Mind" song,if there is any reference to be made it will be with "Simple Minds - New Gold Dream", a small sample appears in my song.
The "Open Your Mind" voice sample is of course from the movie Total Recall.

The word “seminal” is an often-misused term in music. Not, however, when you are talking about Daniel Millers’ aka The Normal’s Warm Leatherette. The first release on Mute Records, catalogue MUTE001 – this is the record that started everything. It meant the world to us then – and it still does now. So we are celebrating all things Daniel, Mute and electronic in the best way we know… Presenting Really O’Reilly’s reimagining with the one and only electro-lady Georgie on vocals, and in deference to the original 7” we have catalogued the tune DID45. Accompanied by a fantastic video from ditto’s very own Phillip Long.  Warm Leatherette indeed.

Been listening to a lot of 70's electronica, and electronic films scores, which have spilled over a little into this track. Set out to do something that could be from a sci-fi from the late 70's/early 80's, but it evolved into something else. Enjoy.
