As of writing this, I've come back to this around 9 years later after almost forgetting this piece of work I've made; hearing this again I feel almost submerged in a mix of emotions. I'm impressed I was able to make this song using only a pirated copy of Logic Pro X with only a MIDI keyboard when I was only 15 years old, but at the same time I feel ashamed for not continuing or building upon my passion for music since then.

Most of this has stemmed from the shame of being Asian, and being afraid of sharing the pieces I've created with all of my friends or the people around me for the fear of being labeled "another Asian kid that plays the piano." I've almost completely buried this passion and I actually lost memory of this track until I logged back into SoundCloud today.
Listening back, I remember the countless hours I put into recording the original piano arrangement, then building layers upon layers of instruments surrounding it. I played each instrument on the MIDI keyboard, mixed them to the best of my ability (with certain instruments being louder to the left or right speaker), and I used the software's crude Drummer AI.

Pursue your talents, pursue your goals, and strive to remember what your 15 year old self was fond of and pursue your lost-found passion.
