This is a discography of AC/DC, an Australian hard rock band. Since 1974, AC/DC have released 14 studio albums worldwide, 4 albums issued in Australia only, 2 compilations released as soundtracks, 3 live recordings, 12 video collections of concerts and music videos, and 2 box sets. Although a large number of AC/DC singles have been released, the band always refused to release any greatest hits type packages;[1] Who Made Who (which served as the soundtrack to Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive), Iron Man 2, and the band's various live recordings are as close as the group have come to such a compilation.[2] AC/DC albums are available to download from Verizon[3], however AC/DC have refused to release their albums on iTunes as iTunes normally allows downloading of individual tracks and AC/DC have publicly stated "Our...reason is that we honestly believe the songs on any of our albums belong together. If we were on iTunes, we know a certain percentage of people would only download two or three songs from the album - and we don't think that represents us musically."[4]
AC/DC was formed in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, and released two albums in Australia before releasing their first international effort, High Voltage with vocalist Bon Scott, bassist Mark Evans and drummer Phil Rudd. In 1980, Bon Scott died less than a year after the release of the successful Highway to Hell, and was replaced by British singer Brian Johnson, with whom AC/DC released their best selling album, Back in Black.[5] Their latest album to date, Black Ice, was released in 2008, selling over 8 million copies worldwide. In 36 years of their career, AC/DC sold over 200 million albums worldwide, roughly 71 million in the US.[6] Back in Black alone sold 22 million (49 million worldwide), and is the 2nd best selling album worldwide.

The Pink Panther is a series of comedy films featuring the bungling French police detective Jacques Clouseau that began in 1963 with the release of the film of the same name. The role was originated by, and is most closely associated with, Peter Sellers. Most of the films were directed and co-written by Blake Edwards, with notable theme music composed by Henry Mancini.

Despite its use in the titles of most of the films of the series, the "Pink Panther" is not the Clouseau character, but a large and valuable fictitious pink diamond of the same name which is the "MacGuffin" of the first film in the series.[1] The phrase reappears in the title of the fourth film, The Return of the Pink Panther, in which the theft of the diamond is again the center of the plot; that film also marked the return of Sellers to the role after a gap of ten years, which may have contributed to some confusion between the character and the diamond. The phrase has been used for all the subsequent films in the series, even when the jewel does not figure into the plot (the diamond has only appeared in six of the eleven films in the series). 
The first film in the series had an animated opening sequence, created by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises and set to the theme music by Henry Mancini, which featured the Pink Panther character. This character, designed by Hawley Pratt, was subsequently the subject of its own series of animated cartoons which gained its greatest fame when aired on Saturday mornings as The Pink Panther Show. The character would be featured in the opening of every film in the movie series except A Shot in the Dark and Inspector Clouseau.

Saigon Kick was formed by lead vocalist Matt Kramer and guitarist Jason Bieler along with bassist Tom Defile, and drummer Phil Varone. They gained a following on the local club scene and generated enough of a buzz to be signed to Third Stone records in 1990 and release their first album in 1991. They toured at length but the album only made a marginal national showing.[citation needed]

They went immediately back into the studio to record their second album, The Lizard which was released in 1992. The album spawned the bands biggest hit single, "Love Is on the Way", which reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received a gold record, and whose video was in the top 10 MTV countdown for many weeks. Just before touring for the album commenced, bassist Tom DeFile was fired. He was replaced by ex-Cold Sweat bassist Chris McLernon. They toured from summer 1992 to spring 1993, enjoying gold status sales for The Lizard.

The band then headed to Sweden to record their third album Water. During recording, Matt Kramer became disgusted with the direction that the band was heading both musically and style wise. Kramer also argues that there were financial differences within the band, and that Bieler took most of the money. Matt flew back to Florida.

With Kramer gone, Bieler decided to take over all of the vocal duties as well as playing guitar on the album. The basic tracks were recorded in Sweden, with finishing touches added at sessions in Tampa, Florida. Regrettably, Water sold significantly less than the first album and Atlantic dropped Saigon Kick. It took two years for Saigon Kick to find another record label to sign them.
Former Cryer/Screams-N-Dreams guitarist Pete Dembrowski joined the band for their fall 1993 tour, and performed on the band's fourth album, Devil in the Details, released in 1995. The band toured to large success globally in 1994, 1995 and 1996, but Saigon Kick never managed to build on the success of The Lizard in the USA.

In July 1997, the band, with Kramer back in the fold but Varone replaced by former Cryer and future Super TransAtlantic drummer Ricky Sanders attempted a reunion. A new song was recorded with this line-up called "Dizzy's Vine" which was released on their Moments from the Fringe CD. The band once again could not deal with each others differences, and Bieler left after two shows.[citation needed]
Bieler, Dembrowski, and Sanders would record the final Saigon Kick album, Bastards for release in the Far East before changing their name and starting anew as Super TransAtlantic.

In 2000, Kramer, Varone, and DeFile resurrected the Saigon Kick name for a short tour lasting until about 2002. Bieler, being involved with Super TransAtlantic and wanting no part of a reunion, was replaced by former Left For Dead and current Slaughter guitarist Jeff Blando. After the tour, the members scattered, and it was thought that Saigon Kick was done for good. Saigon Kick was supposed to have a reunion at the Rock Gone Wild festival, however the show was canceled.[citation needed]

Recently, however, the Saigon Kick website was but back up, along with the names of the current members of Saigon Kick. A reunion is in the works, however the only way to stay updated is by joining the Saigon Kick facebook group.

Post-breakup

Matt Kramer and Jason Bieler both later released solo albums.
Matt Kramer released his critically acclaimed debut solo album titled War &amp; Peas on September 11, 2002 through Lascivious Records, and added the release of his debut book of poetry, An American Profit, on October 31, 2007 through Lascivious Books. Kramer has 3 additional books finished and slated for released in the near future.

Bieler, Dembrowski, and Sanders along with bassist Pat Badger of Extreme formed Super TransAtlantic' and released the album Shuttlecock in 2000. They also appeared on the American Pie soundtrack with the song "Super Down".

Phil Varone joined Skid Row, and also played in the band Prunella Scales with Skid Row bassist Rachel Bolan. Phil left Skid Row, citing his ongoing battle with cocaine addiction and his need to turn his life around. Afterwards, he began promoting his movie Waking up Dead in which a film crew followed him around for several years to document the life of a rock star and the ups and downs that come with it. Varone is now clean and sober. His focus is no longer primarily music, and up until the Summer of 2010, he was booking and hosting standup comedy shows in Los Angeles. In the Fall of 2010, Varone moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. There, he began playing drums again with a new band, The Jimmy Crespo Project, a band that consists of hard rock and heavy metal superstars, fronted by Jimmy Crespo, formerly of Aerosmith.
Tom Defile is clean and sober, is now a massage therapist and living in South Florida. He currently plays with Sex Cells, a local band that plays all over the tri-county area.

Chris McLernon and Ricky Sanders teamed up to form Two Heads Music working in television, film and advertising music production.
Jason Bieler and his brother Aaron now own a music studio and record label in South Florida called Bieler Bros. Records.
Ricky Sanders is currently the touring drummer for former Bad Company lead singer Brian Howe.

"Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" (or simply "Sweet Dreams") is a song by the British pop music duo Eurythmics. It was released as a single in early 1983, and was the title track of their album Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This). It is notable for being the song which provided the group with their breakthrough into commercial success and one of their biggest hits. Its striking music video helped to propel the song to number two on the UK singles chart, and number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It was the fourth single released from the Sweet Dreams album in the UK and the first ever single to be released by Eurythmics in the United States.
"Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" is arguably Eurythmics' signature song and it is their only chart-topper in the U.S. Following its success, their previous single, "Love Is a Stranger", was re-released and also became a worldwide hit. On Rolling Stone's The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time issue in 2003, "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" was ranked number 356 (the group's only song on the list).[3] Eurythmics have regularly performed the song in all their live sets since 1982, and it is often performed by Lennox on her solo tours.
In 1991, the song was remixed and reissued to promote Eurythmics' Greatest Hits album. It re-charted in the UK, reaching number 48, and was also a moderate hit in dance clubs. Another remix by Steve Angello was released in France in 2006, along with the track "I've Got a Life" (peaking at number ten).
