Ian Solo aka Mr Solo is a Producer/DJ that has been working in the underground club scene for over 2 decades.
Originally from East London a 14yr old Solo MC grew up hosting on UKG pirate radio stations around London such as Majic and Freek FM. 
This quickly led to hosting at clubs around the city such as Camden Palace,
Stratford Rex and Legends, working with the likes of DT MC Creed and MC D Double E.
In 2001, Solo moved up to Leeds and quickly got to work by hosting on a Chapeltown based pirate station called Peoples FM every week with Marvin Swiftfingers G and hosting at Garage events all over the North.  
This led to meeting up with DJ Blenda and a few years later started "The Niceness Boyz" with a weekly Garage and Bassline Show on Fresh FM that brought something fresh to the city of Leeds and were lucky enough to hold residencies at events such as Hanky Panky, Studio Beatz, Urban Exposure, Northern Line Records, Slap n Tickle and many more.... Messy Times!! 
 
In 2010, Solo started to produce his own music using his experiences in the UK underground scene and The Niceness Show moved to another Leeds based pirate station called Frequency FM, who were at the time were making huge moves to become the first station in the city to go from pirate to legal.  

2014, Solo put out his first productions out on London based labels We R Bass and Eastside Records which led to getting plays on Kiss FM, Rinse Fm and BBC 1xtra. As more and more DJ’s were asking for guest mixes Solo went from MC/Producer to DJ/Producer.

More recently joined up with the Audio Rehab family. The musical journey continues....
