'DJ Zombi has been around for decades and with this EP proves he's continuing to be at the forefront for a very long time! He's the driving force behind the established Tel Aviv based label; Beat Boutique. As a producer he's known for his unique take on progressive house. 'Let It Go' is collaboration between DJ Zombi & percussion hero Nadav Dagon, which ended up in a warm, dreamy, organic / progressive house record where layers of mysterious pads, iconic synths and enigmatic arpeggios are accompanied by traditional percussion and a big and full low-end. It's 100%% made for these hot summer open airs! Fellow countryman, Millero, took this single into a more driving, clubby direction adding a groovy bassline without staying far from the original. The second remix comes from Tunisian wonderboy Samer Soltan. He created a spinned-out progressive DJ tool, one for the darker dance floors around.'

Michael A has been a regular on Proton Music since a "Bright Hope" landed in early 2017, heralding a clutch of original releases over the following eighteen months. Now returning to the label after a remix of James Warren in February 2019, Michael A showcases "Geometria" alongside remixes from Argentinean and Italian stars.

With a glorious rolling groove providing the rhythmic framework for a cadenced bassline to work closely in tandem, the title track is a typically accomplished affair. Simultaneously, a rippling arpeggio filters into sonic range, waxing and waning with ease and coming fully to the fore at the mid-point breakdown before erupting into extended octave range in the second half, creating a stirring and emotive piece. Partner track, "Wildwood" continues with another wonderful bass groove, locked-tight against an intricate percussive phrase. Continuing a penchant for rich melodic interplay, a sublime arpeggio rises and falls while a series of freeform counterpoint melodies and analogue leads play off each other to create an organic and unconstrained feel that comes into full force in a second half.

Fresh from an outing on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat with the "Bugs and Blossoms", Juan Deminicis returns to Proton Music, following up on November 2018's twin-track "Life on the Moon". A busy 2018 had already seen releases on Spanish imprint Seven Villas, Dutch leviathan Click Records and a stunning collaboration with Jimmy Van M for Plattenbank, while regular outings on the Visceral compilation series has kept Deminicis at the forefront of underground music's cognoscenti. Now returning to Proton Music following up on March 2018's remix of GMJ's "Push Through", Juan Deminicis has taken "Geometria" and treated it to a delicious reworking as a cavernous sub-bassline bristles with low-end menace while a shaker-fuelled groove moves dynamically across the upper frequencies. Before long a rich arpeggio with its roots firmly in Michael A's original supplies additional rhythmic interplay creating an epic dancefloor gem that is certain to be a hit with club-goers across the globe.

The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Kenan Savrun back to the label for his first EP. The Turkish artist first appeared on the Greek imprint in January of this year with a remix of Gabriel Amato's 'Anthrax'. The Ankara resident has compiled an impressive resume since arriving on the progressive scene in 2019. Releases on Ziger's Eat My Hat, Droid9 and Soundteller Records sit prominently in his discography, while his near two-decade long career as a DJ has seen him share the decks with Alex Niggemann, Eli and Fur, Andy Bros, Victor Ruiz and Oliver Huntemann. Now embarking on one of the most anticipated releases of his career, Kenan returns to Movement with 'Luminosity' alongside remixes from Highjacks and John Cosani. 

Rounding out the release and providing the lone interpretation of 'Lights Out' is John Cosani. The Argentinean artist has found a comfortable home on the Greek imprint, with five appearances since making his debut in 2015. Long regarded as one of his country's finest progressive house producers, John has also found a home on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Beat Boutique and Or Two Strangers. Now making a welcome return to Movement Recordings, John delivers a deep interpretation of 'Lights Out'. Engaging from the outset, its warm framework is crafted to perfection with smooth rhythms and hypnotic arps converging for a gorgeous free form story. Quirky melodies and soulful wails lift the mood higher as the main break commences. Perfectly timed, the track's centrepiece is tasteful trippy, as astral effects melt down against a wave of noise as the groove drops for a purring finale. A brilliant remix from John which rounds out another must have release from Tash's Movement Recordings.
