This is a track is my first attempt at recording for a film score. My brief was a teenage girl standing in a misty woods early in the morning-very mournful, very sad. The film scene was 1:30 minutes. Would you believe it took me a whole week (approx-20 hours) recording and mixing and changing bits and putting bits in and taking bits out-and this was the result. I hope you enjoy it :-)

I wrote this song in my head whilst having a coffee and wanted it to have a hippy Raglan style / 60s Byrd sound with electronica underlying the song.

Written in 2006, I wrote this many moons ago whilst living in my caravan and pretty poor! My old 4 track mixer and the final version is fairly rough, but its been a long and worthy road, will re record one day, I hope you enjoy this track. It was written about an Island called Kapiti Island, and I was imagining the island as being a lady for some reason?
