My name is Shyamuu Inyaear, born Shyam Bhagat raised in Richmond Virginia by mother (Priyah Bhagat and father Ram Bhagat. The second oldest out of four siblings, two sisters and one brother. I became interested in music around the age of 10yrs old, exploring my musical gifts I started out playing the hand drums, Then I taught myself how to play the buckets which then I became a street performer. I always had a fascination for sounds and melodies, growing up in the 90s in Richmond was tough, with the crack epidemic and the murder rate on the rise I had to find an outlet to cope with all that was going on around me and in my environment. I began to express myself by writing poetry and rhyming words, it didn’t make sense at first but they say practice makes perfect. In that era I listened to (Nas, Jay z, Cash Money, No limit, and a variety of down south artist favorites being Boosie Badazz and webbie). As I got older I started to pay attention to what I saw around my neighborhood hanging out with the trouble makers or as mom would call them bad influences. I wanted to fit in with my peers, So I began to rebel and ended up finding myself in the department of juvenile justice at the age of 15 my childhood was over. During my time of juvenile incarceration is where I learned how to write rap lyrics, Inspired by another Inmate (LIL B) who showed me how to count bars, and tell stories. I was released in 2005 is when the start of my rap career began, in 2007 is where I met super producer and engineer (JB) from Norfolk VA. At that time he helped me find my sound with my raspy voice, slick rhymes, and catchy hooks I began to get local attention. In 2008 I met this big time promoter in my town (Jay 30 the promo king) he was putting on these showcases/open mic, and I Knew this was my chance to be heard. So I say It's safe to say (Jay 30) put me on and schooled me on the music industry, he believed in me more than I believed in myself. In 2009 I released my first collaboration mixtape (Project Kitchen) with a few other guys from around my neighborhood, which caught the attention of a newly signed artist at the time (Red Rum) people started to compare me to him due to the raspy voice and catchy punchlines. I knew I had something special when I went on tour with (red rum) in 2010 by that time I already had a buzz in my city with my first solo project (Residue from the streets). Meeting and networking with some of the music industries biggest artist (Dj Khaled, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, Young Joc, and more) it was a humbling experience for me. 2011 was when my life took a turn, I got myself into some more trouble  hanging with the wrong crowd I found myself incarcerated for the second time. During my time of incarceration I really got in tuned with God and myself, I spent a lot of time in solitary confinement praying, working out , and writing raps. I knew when I was released I was going to shock the world, I created a mantra the universal slogan that push me through the hardships of my life. (I Am The Work) which means "A product of my experiences" it's not the environment that defines who we are, it's the experiences in that environment that does" when I was released from prison in 2015 I recorded a solo project (what's understood don't gotta be explained) with street bangers like "Anti-Social" "Prison Bound" "I can't forget" to name a few. I began to regain my buzz in my home town of Richmond, I linked up with another artist from the neighborhood (Young Savage) who I thought was dope at the time we recorded a compilation mixtape called ( A Razor, Scale, And A Rap Dream) which put us on the road traveling to states (DMV,NJ,PA,NYC,) promoting are music it was a great feeling to be heard again. I was released off my probation in December of 2016, and then I moved to Denver Colorado where I recorded my second solo project (Dope gon Sell itself). I created a buzz in Colorado with my dope country style , raspy voice and melodic flow, I struck the attention of Denver's own (Trev Rich) who was later signed to (Cash Money Records). With my single "Boo'Bae" flooding the streets I became known for my universal slogan (I Am The Work) a message I delivered through my music and fashion. Performing at showcases throughout the city, networking with some of the biggest local artist my music career was taking off. In 2019 I met (Mr. Hey Now)
Who also was an artist from St. Louis Missouri, he had a whole lot going on at the time, and I blessed that he had the time to take me under his wing and build me up to the artist I now am. Going through a phase of toxic relationships I released the first of four mixtape series called (Love Scarz) in and out of relationships I was able to create a genre called (Heart Break Music) where my music related to mostly broken relationships. I went through that phase in seek of my own happiness I became to search for love within myself, releasing projects like (Love & Therapy 1 and 2) (S.O.U.N.D)standing out unique N different. I started to evolve once I found love and began to live in my truth, 2022 I was on another level I was healed from all the trauma I've been through, I expressed those emotions in my latest projects (Emotional Detox season one and two) both projects are OUT NOW!!! On all music streaming platforms. I'm still learning and growing to be a better version of myself everyday, and through my music I hope I can heal the world one person at a time.
