RADIO:TRAUMA 018: FOREVER UNITED

Forever United is an artist and DJ from Boston, Massachusetts. His main body of work revolves around ethereal melancholic fusions of trance, ambient, and pop music, as well as a side project centered on a sound he describes as “ice drill.” His first major release, “#ArmaniSeason”, is an impressionistic blend of Chicago drill and uplifting trance, gaining a cult following in the years after its release. Since then, he has collaborated with other artists in Strichtarn, a label/collective he and co-founder MYA organize, and DJed for underground shows in Portland, Oregon including Barn Radio, Limit Break, and Ewaste.

For this mix, Forever United has chosen a heavenly choir of ambient and trance-adjacent sounds, invoking both disassociation and ascension.
