On the first day of 2020, @Ida-Engberg made her Cityfox and Avant Gardner debut, filling the Void in Brooklyn with a decadent four-hour techno set for all to two-step into the new year. 'The Arrival,’ an audiovisual installation from visionary A/V architect duo, 404.zero, designed a spatial fantasy that interacted with the height of the drops and the depth of the bass, creating a journey of sound that lured people in from every corner of the five-stage complex. Listening back to this incredible early evening in January with Ida will surely have you craving her beats for weeks. Rayson Diaz, a contributor for FreshMusicFreaks.com writes, “Around 3 pm I decided to check out the lovely Ida Engberg, some of you may know her as Adam Beyer’s wife but I know her as a Techno goddess after this set. The production in the room known as the Void was insane thanks to a special art installment, which perfectly matched the intensity of her set.” 

A product of Sweden's techno scene, Ida Engberg has distinguished herself as a DJ/Producer through relentless hard work, passion, and her discerning ear for deep house. Her versatility and performance energy is infectious; whether she’s playing big room techno at Drumcode shows or waking up the spirits at after-hours all around the world, Ida continues to surprise and entice the sophisticated ears of the most committed techno listeners. First year I came to Ibiza was 1973 - as a young boy with my parents. In 1974 my father took me first time to Pacha, I was 14 years old. From 1983 - 1986 I was the first PR-Manager of Pacha Ibiza. After studying arquitecture I created my Arquitecture Company in Germany - the last building that my team planned has been selected as the most intelligent building in Germany in 1999 - SAP Partnerport with more than 32.000 sqm. In 2000 I went to Majorca to build exclusive villas for rich german people, my last construction of a private villa had more than 1.000 sqm living area. Since 2010 I live in Ibiza - together with my mum and my brother Sven with his family, he runs a famous beach bar in Formentera called Piratabus. I´m totally happy with my life and love to select cool mixes to create nice playlists here on soundcloud ..... :-)
