TheClaw - Bacc in the Days [On Y Va Records]

There are three principle components to the work of Toronto based Duo, Nature of Music. There is a sense of patience that their music exudes that really allows their sound to ‘breathe’ in the framework of their sets and their production work. Strings play out, the delays roll off into the distance, and the reverb swells and holds you.

To form this, the duo combines both live performance and DJing into a sophisticated blend that utilizes drum machine rhythm pieces alongside a mesmerizing palette of melodies sprinkled with hints of acapella and spoken word. Rich atmospheric pads combined with string ensembles help create deep harmonies that balance together to play equal rolls in the duo’s theater of sound.

Nature of Music have proven to be stylistically unlike any other and after a few plays become instantly recognizable. SoundPark welcomes back one of our favorite audio story-tellers to signature their follow up to their 2015 audio tale.
