"Music is emotions" says Gladis, the latest Italian DJ to be making her mark around Europe. Her refined, stripped back house style is as sleek and stylish as you would expect from someone from Venice and is the sort of music to get under your skin and into your soul. She's formerly held residencies in her homeland that have helped her become a versatile DJ and she now takes those lessons on the road.

A first release is due imminently, but before that we get a quick lowdown about the Italian's background, where she's going and all about the mix she has served up for us.

Mighty techno talent Marco Faraone is coming off another big summer of headline gigs at clubs like Amnesia where he was once again a Music On resident, as well as Privilege and Tobacco Dock. His supersized yet hypnotic sounds come on Drumcode and Rekids, while he also runs the UNCAGE label and is someone who never fails to make a big impact in the club. 

And that is the case again with his latest remix on UNCAGE, which we premiere below. It finds the Italian adding his spin to Celome’s ‘Violence Was Magnified’ alongside a second mix from Zenker Brothers. The result is a powerful five-minute piece with hefty drums driving along beneath crisp hits and groaning synths. It’s the sort of all-consuming groove that will fill a warehouse with sound and can be pre-ordered on Beatport.

Manchester’s Rudosa has been crafting his sound for the last decade. In that time, he has been a Sankeys Manchester resident DJ and has had a number of releases on the Stereo Productions, Deeperfect and Wow! Recordings labels. 2018 has been solid for the man, with the release of his 'Invasion' EP on Carl Cox’s Intec and another 4 track EP on Suara which drew support from techno luminaries Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens and Charlotte De Witte.

December brings a new record on Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave. ‘Activated’ is a three-track smasher with the high energy you expect from Rudosa. The title track immediately draws you in with its captivating vocal stabs. ‘Hypoxia’ has a similar vibe with more resonating vocals and rippling melodies. Whilst ‘It’s Time’ is a more celestial groove and can be pre ordered now on Beatport.
