HARVEST OF DEATH is proud to present a long-overdue repress of VETALA's classic debut album, Satanic Morbid Metal. Originally released back in 2010, when the raw Portuguese black metal scene was a heavily guarded secret only discovered by the most depraved, Satanic Morbid Metal indeed accomplished its title and then some: although continuing the dark, disgusting work laid down by Black Circle forerunners Irae and Mons Veneris, VETALA here brazenly unveiled an exquisitely twisted vision of black metal, clanging and crazed and almost accidentally avant-garde yet with a truly unique and malformed melodicism that nevertheless had those who had the good fortune to hear it questioning the band's very sanity. Bolstered by renewed artwork, this new edition of the album coincides with the band's special appearance at Invicta Requiem Mass IV, set to take place November 30 in Porto, Portugal. No better time, then, to worship the old gods anew with VETALA's Satanic Morbid Metal!
