Some of my favorites from the fringes of (mostly) recent club-oriented music.

Doily # 7: Heads Down, Hoods Up

It's Downtempo Mode All Summer ~

Taking a detour into a new series, with these limits:

Year: from 1989-1999 (with a few exceptions)
BPM: from 95-115(with a few exceptions)

Tunes to stand near the bassbin and watch the sun set.

Doily #10.1: Don's Party

Cigarettes and wine on the terrace at dusk. Lots of bug spray.

The Grouch DJ is a record dealer, digger and DJ originally from the San Francisco area. Currently based in São Paulo, Brazil, when he is not at home, he is on the road DJing, and digging for records around the world.

This mix is compiled of some of the favorite digs from the DJs last year on the road, including records from all over Brazil, Peru, Washington State, Portland, Argentina, New York and beyond.
