Hailing from Jersey City, Ibn Ahki has challenged himself to make an impact on the hearts and ears of music lovers across the globe by setting his own rules. With a sound rooted in R&B and Hip–Hop, the singer pays homage to the era he grew up in while producing a contemporary and refreshing sound. Ahki takes his craft seriously and shies away from trends that prohibit newcomers from having longevity in an industry currently grooming one hit wonders.

One of his earliest records, "Freak", caught the ears of both Interscope and Atlantic Records, Ahki decided to sign with an independent record label in 2013, under another alias. To avoid compromising his creative vision and artistic integrity, however, he opted out of the deal less than a year later and now resides in Los Angeles, actively working and furthering his career.

Ibn Ahki’s latest creative endeavor is the 'Love Fiend' project - the story of the type of person that loves so hard it becomes like a drug. He feels that men show their love differently and with this project, which may evolve into a series of EPs, he wants to express what actually happens when they fall hard and sincerely. ‘Love Fiend’ will illustrate life, sex, infidelity, drugs and lessons of love under no condition.

While fans await the 2nd quarter 2015 release of ‘Love Fiend’, Ahki will keep them entertained with a series of tidbits from the project and unreleased tracks being released ahead of his new single slated for release this Spring. He is also set to work with CyFyre (Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Lupe Fiasco), SK (Trey Songz, R. Kelly, August Alsina), Kyle Justice (J. Cole, Ludacris, Kind Ink) among others.

With such raw talent running through his veins, Ibn Ahki is motivated and determined more than ever to make the world talk...or better yet...sing with him.
