We are ecstatic to be kicking off the 2022 Techgnosis Records lineup with a ferocious showing from the always-impressive Aleckat, who first made his label debut exactly 2 years ago. We celebrate this auspicious occasion with the release of 'Scritchy', a truly exceptional mini-album comprised of 5 brand new creations, with 2 of those getting a proper remix treatment from scene icons Miles From Mars and a collaborative rework from fellow Australian artists, the talented Tomchilla and Lektrk. Aleckat's signature playful-yet-serious blend of progressive and psychedelic techno is on full display here, with each piece boasting a strong thematic flavor and sound design. The 6-track 'Contact High EP' contains 4 groovy original productions as well as remixes by APHE [Germany] & Tomchilla [Australia]. 

mexCalito is a young German producer who's tracks are being released by some of world's best underground techno labels.
His sound is characterized by frisky and rolling basses and an experimental hypnotic groove. His unique music style is a cross between Techno, Zenon, Minimal and a kind of haunting psychedelic groove. Driving psycho synth tones with bubbling and fizzy sounds arisen from another world, integrating a freakish and impelling drive that guarantees a physical experience along the journey.

The first remix on this album is produced by German artist APHE. He's no stranger to the AlpaKa family and absolutely smashed this one out of the park. Contributing wonderful melodies and a driving bassline, this remix will get any crowd bouncing!

We asked Tomchilla to get on board remix duties for his debut release on AlpaKa MuziK. With his bumping progressive rendition of 'Plemm Plemm', he brings the Australian bush techno vibes right straight to your ears wherever you may be.
