It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon the kind where the world slows down just enough to let you breathe. Rain was falling gently outside, tapping against the windows like a soft rhythm only nature could compose. 

I was sitting by the window with a cup of something warm, lost in the sound, when inspiration quietly slipped in. I started playing a few piano notes, letting them wander like the rain itself. 

Then came the violins, soft and thoughtful. 

My wife, always with the perfect instinct, leaned over and said, 
“What if you added some cello?” and she was right. 
This piece came together in that peaceful moment, a little gift from the rain, and from love.

Rain - Rise Beyond the Stars

A sense of plaintive yearning is heard here, yet it is also somewhat languid. The 15/8 time signature plays is used for both 5 beats os three quavers and 3 beats of five quavers in a bar
