“Tightrope” is the first song I ever wrote. Thinking about how we balance responsibilities and expectations in life gave rise to the image of walking on a tightrope, which became the core of the song. This constant balancing act also makes you wonder if along the way you’ve lost sight of the things that are truly important to you as a person. “Tightrope” is a journey that is completed with the realization that we do have the ability to take control and focus on the things that matter most to us in order to live a fulfilling life.

"Please Come Down" is a song about dealing with loss and the feelings of regret that come with it. Everyone experiences loss in some shape or form and so people have different responses to it. This song is about how easy it is to slide into a spiral of regret where you find yourself replaying mistakes and imagining what if's. 

Understanding the pain of loss makes it even more important to empathise with those who experience it and extend a helping hand when we can.

Please Come Down

After a bit of a hiatus I’m excited to release my third song, “What Friends Are For.” I wrote this as an homage to all the friends who’ve had my back through thick and thin. It’s full of references and highlights to celebrate the incredible bonds that I’ve been blessed with thus far.

So once again, here’s a big thank you to all my friends for being awesome!

Hi guys! My name is Ibrahim Habib and I'm a doctor from Karachi, Pakistan. Music has always been something very important to me and this SoundCloud page is a part of my musical passion project. Over the past few years I've written and developed multiple songs from scratch and I'm very excited to now be sharing them with the world.
