I wanted to make this one a journey from start to finish. I was hoping for an official release after Billie and her mom both liked my posts but understandably they don’t do official remixes. That being said her team was nice enough let us post to soundcloud for you all to enjoy. After a much needed break I'm finally back in the studio to prepare for 2025. And in this regard I decided to release Cutting Edge Vol.III
The importance of pushing sonic boundaries has always been a core value for me when it comes to electronic music. Stepping away from the rinse and repeat procedure and walking into the void of the unknown has never been more exciting and important than in the era we are living in.
This has been the main driver for the Cutting Edge mix series. To shed light on different sonic movements and experiments that are usually rarely heard in a mix format due to the Conservative nature of our habits and palettes of taste.
I simply could not leave you guys on mute before going into the cave to carve the new future of the IGUBU project and I hope this selection will fall on open ears and open minds.
Never forget that DnB always goes forward and never moves in circles. Stagnant progress is not a habit of this style and with the rapid evolving technological breakthroughs this style will always continue to evolve sonically whether you like it or not.
