A laid back atmosphere led by some classic brass riffs. There is  an infusion of Japanese 70s jazz on the track that can be perceived with the lyrical elements which are abstract to emulate the classic jazz scatting singing from hard bop to complement the jazzy vibe.

A warm and mellow bass line on a classic P-Bass sets the foundation of the song. It’s steady, subtle, and irresistibly smooth, holding the beat together without stealing the spotlight. The soft, wistful melody of a clarinet weave in and out of the mix, bringing a dreamy and slightly melancholic touch to the track. A heavily processed piano takes you back to simpler times the melody echo is filled with nostalgia, blending perfectly with the chilled vibe while giving the song an unmistakable character. DAFFIES & SOUL

Inspired by the colors of Autumn on a crispy sunny Sunday Morning on southern Ontario I went  into an introspective meditation that  made me reminisce of songs such as as Song for my Father or Autumn Leaves. 

I wanted to capture the same emotion of those songs so I started the process by taking an Album from my Vinyl collection that had the colors of Autumn and started it spinning on my AKAI AP-100C. 

Several samples came from it; most relevantly an atmospheric pad  and the main lyrics of Falling on Autumn  which gave the track life of its own. I achieved the Lyrical composition by pitching and time stretching the sample.

From there I layered the Harmony on my KAWAI MR-210 and processed through a DENON DRM-500 with a maxell type II Tape to gieve it more flavor and character same was for the Drums. Then I laid the Bass line on A P-Bass with Flats and finally a brought a Wurlitzer for the B section and Solo.
