'Power is Beautiful' - Škoda India | History Channel

A set of 12 documentaries on innovations in maternal health for the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). Directed by Black Ticket FIlms (Sushmit Ghosh & Rintu Thomas). The films were beautifully shot all over India...it was fun to incorporate the different folk music elements from each particular region. This suite is a selection of cues from the Assam and Jamkhed films.

Class project for Michael Brigida's Advanced Sampling. All the sounds are custom made - from sources such as shoelaces, empty milk crates, electric razors... and much weirder things. The main melodic line is based on a (Carnatic) Indian classical scale. Completed in about 5 hours...before the class that is.
