LATAM Feelings Vol. 1

Cantera Rosa es un demo de un proyecto sonoro no terminado (y de tiempo atrás) que quise compartir en ese formato. Habla de Morelia, la ciudad de donde soy originario. Utilizo las metáforas de los atardeceres y amaneceres veloces que moldean el paisaje urbano y emocional de los transeúntes. Espero que logre llevarlos a algún sitio cálido.

Cantera Rosa is a demo from a non-finished sound project (that takes way back) and that I wanted to share anyway. It speaks about Morelia, the city where I come from. I use some metaphors about the speed sunsets and warm sunrises that shape the urban and emotional landscapes of the people who live in it. Hope this sounds can take you to some warm place.

El viaje hacia nuestros sonidos internos es un viaje a través de la salvia, en el entramado que define el rostro resilente de la morena America. Desde la selva hasta las barrancas mas inhóspitas, entre pájaros de mil voces y el color de la tierra, los sonidos son cicatrices y rastros de un pueblo que ha decido perdurar y transformarse en el tiempo. Este es el segundo viaje por el rico entramado sonoro de Latinoamerica.

From the jungle to the most inhospitable ravines, amidst birds with a thousand voices and the color of the earth, the sounds are scars and traces of a land that have chosen to endure and transform over time. An experimental piece that collects sounds from all over Madero Av. in Morelia, and the nature isolation from the Cuahutemoc Forest. It was a hard time of quarantine to get more sounds from my surroundings, so this is what It came to be.
