Due to legal reasons, I won't be uploading the version with the acapella. *insert screaming "MAJOR BUMMER MAN" here*

This was a pretty simple cover, the organ and bass are 8 measures and repeated throughout the song.
The drums are 1 meaure.
The tricky part was that synth atmosphere thing AND FINDING A GOOD FREE GUN SOUND (FUUUUUU)
Anyway the snare was layered (2 snares and a AK-47 shot (no joke))
Though I brutally filtered the snares and the AK-47 (think extreme notch, HP, LP filters)

I had to rewrite the bassline 3 times, 2 times was trying to figure it out by looking at the Wave Candy spectrum, finally I said "You know wat, SCREW THIS".
In the end, I threw a LP filter on the original track, and sequenced the bass from ear.
I used the Wave Candy spectrum to do the organ and piano (YES, there is a piano, its pretty faint, and you normally won't hear it unless you listen carefully)
The piano sounds like it might be dulled, so I used an EP for it.

Apart of my yearly compilation, Bit Merge focuses on using simple plugins and sounds, or samples usually of lower than normal quality.

Its a case of "I don't really care if it sounds high quality, it just needs to sound interesting and fun"

For this particular track, I sampled the Yogcast's Big Reactor video, using the first 40 or so seconds of the clip, where Simon flips out over the messed left by the reactor exploding.

I'm sure they won't mind me sampling them :P

So a little side project I was working on was the OST for a little mobile game Run Rasta Run, sadly, the developer put the project on the backburner, I still do ocassionally make tracks in it's style though, this is the 10th track on the OST, I went for swing with this

So I made a thing, in Nova's style, it happened while I was resampling some bass samples. 

It's in 3/4, so you may need to listen a few times to get the feel for the beat, luckily I didn't do any complex drum work this time around

note. I sample basses a lot to use in the sampler channel, and then apply the same mixer chain on it again to change the tone ever so slightly, the result is a slightly more distorted version, you then change the filter cutoff to lower the distortion and change the tone slightly, then resample it again

I also work mostly from simple wavetables that I once again, sampled from other tracks
