I know that Carte Blanche is a very overplayed classic and so I kept the plays and exposure of this track to the public audience minimal and non-invasive. For those who knew it existed though it's probably great to have access to the full, lossless track now. :)

EDIT 2022-12-27 – As you may know by now, Faithless' singer, Maxi Jazz, has recently passed away.

I've been feeling very sad about this, knowing that his voice has contributed to the very roots of the same electronic music that got me hooked onto it in the first place. Whenever you hear his voice in music, you know it is him, and you know it's a Faithless tune, and you know it is an awesome piece.

I did a bootleg of their "Salva Mea" song back in 2014 that many people downloaded and shared, and still do. Many DJs played it on the stages and in their shows and streams. The very core of the track, the elements that Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz put together in the original, carries on within, and I'm glad that through it some people experienced and will experience the power of the voice that contributed to Faithless' tunes: the mysterious, deep, never over the top vibes that his lyrics and tone brought.

That's just one of many ways how he leaves a legacy and I am very sure that, at many times in the future, I will listen back to his work, with these thoughts in mind.

Rest in Peace, Maxi Jazz.

Five years ago, Neptune Project started a remix contest as part of the release of their "A Question Of Reality" album. The remix contest was specifically for one of the stand-out tracks on it, "Pulse," for anyone who wanted to participate. In the end, three winners and a few follow-ups were chosen that were supposed to get released on Mythology over two remix EPs. The second remix EP release however never happened, and my remix being part of the follow-ups was stuck in release limbo. As of this Saturday, that has changed: I was able to reach out to Dan and he gave me the green light to go ahead and share this track with you all directly!

This is the full length version of the remix from 2019. There was no shorter version of this track.

I've been sitting on this one for quite a while, deciding on whether I want this to go to a label or not. I loved playing this one every time on stream. It has some of my finest effect works to date on it, has one of the best mixtures of modern Trance influences and melodies I could come up with so far. And the vocal inspired me on the direction I wanted to take with this track so much. I even involved the community in feedback for this track which I really don't do often. Things worked out in a way that I decided to go ahead and just throw this one in for this epic month of free downloads.
