This is the recording of a set that I played at Sampling Moods Records (Milan), in February 2024. When my friend Chibbuz asked me to open the party, I knew that it was important and decided to tell a story, or many stories in one.

Chibbuz's mandate was easy: "get the people on the dancefloor and make them dance". I had been thinking about doing a set that could tell something about the evolution of a dance night for a while and figured out this private party was a good chance.

The key to getting the story of the set is seeing it as a conversation, between the DJ and the crowd, as I often felt during memorable sets. But also as a transition, from a more danceable and social phase to a more reflective and deep one ("We have that good shit. And we have that other shit"). As maybe one twenty's are?
