The "MEDUSA Ep" was released by Rodion on Roccodisco and contains two unique gems: "MEDUSA" and "SOLENOID". 
The tracks have now been reworked and dubbed by Alien Alien (the combo of Rodion himself and the DJ Hugosan). The relationship between Rodion and Alien Alien has been indefinable, ever since their "SAMBACA" anthem: osmosis, inspiration, metamorphosis. 
Here Alien Alien take Rodion's electronic glamour vision to a whole different level: slower, dirtier and even druggier. BPMs at around 100... 


MEDUSA - Caribbean Alien Alien dub 
With hypnotic vocals from DJs Pareja (Comeme/Turbo), the original anthem Medusa is fed to the darkest of Caribbean nights, where primitive cumbia, scary voodoo and tribal magic melt into one in a freaky dance ritual.

SOLENOID - Pluviale Alien Alien dub
The pluviale dub of Solenoid carries you into a wet and slow trip: a psychedelic moombaton piece originating from a forgotten sound system somewhere along the Amazon river . 

SOLENOID - Interstellar Alien Alien dub 
The interstellar dub of Solenoid lifts us up through obscure planets and nebulas: hypnotic cosmic dust waves, which ride the tightest of Alien grooves. 

This music is the sound of the mystic on the dance floor, where body and groove become one.

Abrão - The Tropical Magician.

Abrao, which means Abraham in Portuguese,
was born in 1963, in Sao Paulo, Brazil,
growing up in the 60s, in the jewish ghetto of Sao Paulo.

Abrão, which had a big lust for life,
was struggling with society rules,
and wanted to push new borders.

He was the lead singer of the underground post-punk band "Kafka",
performing a lot in the Sao Paulo area during the 80's.
He left the band, and travelled for a psychedelic musical research to India.
In 1997 he wanted to try and start a new life so he moved to Israel.

Also known as the mysterious voice behind the vocal productions of Red Axes,
such as Papa Sooma, Caminho de Dreyfus, Waiting for a surprise,
Sabor and many more.

So now, after several years of intensive touring and recording,
performing already on festivals such as Sonar and Primavera and many more, 
releasing on labels such as Correspondant, Crosstown Rebels, Multi Culti, and more.

Abrao will debut his first solo EP produced by Red Axes,
and released on their own imprint, Garzen Records.

This second instalment on Really Swing 12” series sees two great exponents of the Italian electronic and nu disco scene, Dj Rocca and Leo Almunia. “Rhythm Collision” is a sublime 3-tracker sun soaked jazz infused EP, delivering stunning balearic summer vibes for a proper dancefloor jolt. Side A “Every Changing Bubbles” shows up intricate guitar and flute texture over a stunning disco cuts, on the flip side “Estate” drops a mellow warm, rich jazz-funk tune reminiscent of the '80s Neapolitan funk scene while “Mbira Funk” close the EP with some serious club vibe.
