while this ep draws obvious inspiration from french electro artists, it should not be seen as an attempt to cliche their styles or the genre as a whole. in addition, while it may be nostalgic to some, the mixtape should not be interpreted as an homage, as this might imply that music was once greater than it is now. an artificial relic of a time when the internet was rapidly making the diversity of music open to the world, enjoy both the gritty and warming tones of a lost and degrading cassette (the louder, the better).
