ICON is a Dutch satanic death metal / grindcore band, founded by Ed (Shredded Cunt) and Oogklep (Bleed, Kringspiertyfus, Cardinal, Necrology).

Op een zondige godverlaten zaterdagavond besloten de hooggeachte heren 
Oogklep (BLEED, KRINGSPIERTYFUS, CARDINAL, NECROLOGY)en Ed (SHREDDED CUNT) na jarenlang elkaars muziek
afgezeken te hebben, de handen ineen te slaan voor een Satanisch
Death/Grind project. Na 6 godverlaten nummers zag Hij dat het goed was. 

ICON is Satanische Death/Grind zonder gevoel voor subtiliteit of respect
voor de luisteraar, zoals Satanische Death/Grind bedoeld is. 
Een tegenreactie op de overgeproduceerde en geperfectioneerde, zielloze metal
van nu. Niks aan ICON is perfect, daarom is het perfect.
