Confessions Pt III (Feat. Colin Stetson)

Montreal-based electronic music artist viñu-vinu will release a new EP entitled Encounters later this fall. Today he shares the first single : Givosae. On this new 7 minutes multi-section track viñu-vinu continues to showcase his taste for lush and engaging beats, as well as explores new territories, with dense and dark layers of synths, textural voice recordings and the song ending on a spacious ambient section.

Givosae

Encounters is the title track and second single for viñu-vinu's upcoming Encounters EP which drops Nov 11th 2017.

The main elements in this track, like all the pads and melodies, were made only by manipulating 2 audio sources (no synth or vsti, except for the sub bass) : one from field recordings of different chimes and bells from the Plaza Gabriela Mistral en el Cerro San Cristobal (Santiago, Chile) and the second from vocal recordings taken from a previous session.
