With a deep & genuine voice, thought stimulating lyrics embedded in memorable melodies and with an outstanding band that surrounds it all with unique chords and colors;  Idan, the band, and his electric viola manage to awaken a deep sense of connection to our shared story, as humankind. This special Blues, Soul 'n Jazz will find its way inside, being carried by earthy rhythms and tribal grooves. 
 
During these days, Idan & the band are recording their debut album with musical producer Shuz-In (3421, Ester Rada, Trillion) and his wide electronic background that brings new influences into the songs. Attached here are two sketches from the album. The band has also had the honor to work with international percussionist & time master Rony Iwryn (Yemen Blues, Mark Eliyahu, Idan Raichel) who is featured twice during the album.

The Album is coming out September 2017.

...After a promising career as a classical violist & composer, Idan started to write songs inspired by his family's New York origins and quite intuitively found himself attending the Jazz Program in the Tel Aviv Conservatory where, together with friends, the Idan Abrahamson Band came to life. The group has preformed many times in Tel Aviv and in the north and has also played Yearot Menashe Festival  2016.
