I felt great recording this song and loved the swing of the chorus so I thought it'd be appropriate to write about being content with life.

Basically after finding a guitar sound I liked on my gretsch I recorded the whole rhythm first go. Had a lot of fun mixing along with the guitar. The lyrics are about just someone who isn't open to share feelings.

This song converted from my acoustic quite well but I still enjoy my acoustic version a lot. The song is about greener grass and its illusion.

Up & Over

This song was written on piano. The riff was sad until I started adding other sounds in and after I deciding on singing along with the piano's melody I wanted to write about myself more-so in how I need to be humble and listen to wisdom and reason.

Willing To Learn

I wrote this on acoustic but saxophone and drums were in my head right away and I couldn't wait to record it. Thought jealousy was good topic for a jazzy, older sounding song.

This is one of those songs that I could hear the whole thing in my head since the first guitar riff and I'm really happy with how I could record what was in my head. Hope you enjoy.

Searching through the many electronic samples and sounds I had, I came across this very dynamic and profound sound. The song just escalated with drums and choir and after most of the recording was done I thought it'd fit the song to write about addiction from the view point of someone who is close and is trying to help.

Hi, I'm just a stubborn musician who loves to write music. I say stubborn cause though I love lots and many different types of music, when I'm writing, I prefer my idea's best. I've self taught all the little I know about music and recording, and I write and record by myself as well. I mainly write songs on an acoustic or a piano but sometimes sampling different sounds can spark new ideas. I like almost any style of music and try to incorporate all styles when writing my songs. Letting any sound, beat, lyric etc., carry on and define a feeling. That's why I think the name Idea Lobby best defined my music.
