Reprisal is the debut album of glovv (pronounced glow, formerly called hissey miyake). Glovv is Mai and Lei Gryffydd.

me | mu & meow was Mai and Lei Gryffydd's first proper band. This is a live recording from Rics Bar in Brisbane when Mai and Lei were 18 years old. 

In 2006, they started playing shows with drummer Julian. The music was heavily influenced by the twins' jazz training and penchant for changing time signatures throughout each song. Their performing arts background was also evident, with Mai and Lei often wearing costumes, such as rubbish and blood stained nighties, and incorporating performance art into their sets (they once crawled through the crowd covered in a sheet). With their distinct sound, they were a popular support for international and interstate artists such as The Slits, My Disco, The Stabs, Bat Rider, Die! Die! Die!, Fabulous Diamonds, Ground Components and many more.

Since me | mu & meow, Mai and Lei have played in numerous bands. Defunct bands include on/off, twin twin, Acid Casualty, and Hissey Miyake, while Glovv, Stationary Suns and Cystic Nightmare are their current bands.
