El dúo Cholazo Sound System, oriundos de Iquique, ciudad que queda en el extremo norte de Chile, ha sido profundamente influenciado por los pueblos hermanos de Bolivia y Perú, además de la cumbia y los sonidos nativos Aymaras y Quechuas, lo cual se ve reflejado fuertemente en su primer EP, Pawa.

Pawa, es una ceremonia Andina que se da en diferentes situaciones en la cual se entregan ofrendas en un símbolo de gratitud, que la vez se pide la bendición y protección de nuestros seres divinos como lo es el Tata Inti (Nuestro Padre) y la Pachamama (nuestra madre), se recuerda a nuestros seres que partieron y son parte de la otra vida, pero que a la vez son nuestro pasado, futuro y presente.

Our second Mala Mix is comes from the duo Kotu. With over 25 years experience of dj-ing between them, you'd hope they're pretty good at mixing records, and they are. Born in the UK, but currently living in Croatia where they work as resident DJ's and play sets up to 8 hours week in, week out. They produce music too, having previously released on Constant Circles, Anjunadeep and Nie Wieder Schlafen, they chose Oleeva to handle their latest ep 'Obala'.
