DJ St@tic was born in Manhattan NY and raised with the passion of Latin and House Music. His uncle was a Latin House DJ in the 90's and played for the famous artist 2 in a room. DJ St@tic always knew he wanted to become a DJ, the days his mother would be listening to Salsa from Frankie Ruiz to Gran Combo to Grupo Niche and Merengues from Wilfredo Vargas to Los Hermanos Rosario and Tono Rosario all while having "la escoba" (Broom) sweeping the house and dancing. His passion for music grew and landed him his first gig in Queens New York, at the age of 17 working for CasaBlanca later called the Palms. From there DJ St@tic started playing in Latin Quarters uptown spanish harlem to include CopaCabana in midtown manhattan. DJ St@tic has played in several places around the US to include Kings Palace (Colorado Springs, CO) Latin Quarters (Colorado Springs, CO) Picasos (San Antonio, TX) Club Lo (Bridgeport, CT) Club X (PortChester, NY) Club 45 (Queens, NY). Now I-DJ St@tic has become International playing House music from Brazil, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Latin House such venues international are Barbara Bar (Colombia) Mango Biche (Colombia) La Cantera (Colombia) Club Paradise (Colombia) Karpanta (Colombia) Caballo Blanco (Peru) Bazzi Bazzi (Brazil).

Types of Music:

Merengue, Salsa, Cha-Cha-Cha, Bachata, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Vallenato, Punta, HipHop, Reggae, House, Latin-House, and Brazilian House. 

How the DJ Name came about:

in 2000 IDJ St@tic was given his name by one night djing in CasaBlanca later to be know as the Palms in Queens, New York. He was spinning reggae records when the needle hit the record and you start to hear static. DJ St@tic forgot his alcohol and cottonballs to keep the record free of static and clean. Soon there after he was told why not call yourself DJ Static since you have static on your records. A joke turned into a reality and DJ Static was born. To give it a little touch DJ Static changed the name to DJ St@tic. There is only one....
