Solid Steel in association with Serato (31st July) In Hour 1 it's a return visit to Solid Steel for Throwing Snow, who previously graced the turntables in 2012 and you can hear that mix in the Featured section at SolidSteel.net . This mix however exclusively features music from Spainish artists that has been released over the last couple of years. Tracks from Wesphere, Uxuka, Glue Kids, Desert and Barcelona's finest, Downliners Sekt all feature and Throwing Snow said of his Spanish Fam 'It was nice giving exposure to a small scene full of lovely people'. His latest EP 'Glower' is out now on Houndstooth.

Izabela Wlodarska, a.k.a. Idl Isabelle, officially scribbled onto the electronic scene in 1997 bringing to the decks a symptomatic sound, wise beyond her 16 years of age. This proved to be a challenging year, during which Idl Isabelle pioneered a musical grassroots movement of sorts in her hometown of Olsztyn, Poland. 
Fascinated by dark deep base lines, broken beats, beautiful melodies, and echoed pitched vocals Idl Isabelle combines in her sets styles ranging from electro, techno, and minimal to downtempo and experimental. Staying true to her work she has never strayed from playing vinyl despite the flux in trends. Keeping her style innovative she uses various sounds and genres, past and present, to shape her musical narrative. This in turn makes her persona stay free from fads and true to herself. Idl Isabelle’s vision is to combine tracks that contain the darkness and strength of techno with the beauty of experimental atmospheric electronica.
