A musical diversity which has a common denominator love for psychedelia, distortion, depth of bass and sharp rhythms like the claws of an arboreal monitor lizard.

As a lover and appreciator of the Horror and Suspense genre in movies and books, I grew up seeing many things in these works that caught my attention and caused a strangely pleasurable feeling. All my life I have also seen these things happen in real life, many times more brutally, but the feeling was not the same. That shiver, that tension and that moment caused by reading or by a fictitious interpretation was not produced in my body, but a feeling of anguish and anger. Anger for sharing the same space and being of the same species as the one who performs such actions.
The last 3 years we've had atypical years of our lives, and throughout that process I poured that into music, creating this album. I can say that it was an “emotional masochism”. I read stories, watched movies (based on real events or not), looked for things I hadn't looked for and listened to various news. In addition to observing the world around, as usual. With that, I saw even more the capacity of the human being to be, at the very least, complicated.
It is not necessary to list or point out all the problems that human beings are capable of being and doing with their peers and with everything around them. We all know. And we don't know everything, as we are always surprised by the insanity of the mind, putting ourselves in situations that were previously unimaginable.
No triggers and no more stimuli: the scariest movie is human life.

[PREMIERE] Mandruvá - Apocalipse

This 2nd VA gathered by the reptilian mafia presents a darker side than the first compilation. You will get to hear some delicate sound design from Paris-based bass addict Machka, some deep and mellow brainfucking downtempo from Swiss duo Los Pashminas, and heavy industrial breaks from our friend Mawen, sound engineer of our first release and talented producer based in Bordeaux. Oceya turns the next page with a psychedelic soulful downtempo track, tingling your agmydala with her distorted vocoded voice, opening the path for Toulouse-based bass music queen Jan Loup and her high detailed and overdriven footworking dubstep. Danniel Dhnl follows with his classic gimmicks of "Tribal Guaracha" straight from México, then Nour Kara also from Toulouse, delivers a dark technoïd yet organic tribute to Iranian women fighting for freedom. To close the deal, Da Iguana & Doko Modo prepared some trancey downtempo rooted in earth but crossing the cosmos, Islyz a heavy drum & bass track with reptile skin-like textures, and our close friend Meo is the goodbye giver, with some forest-infused, muddy yet delicate "popperstep" made with his good old octatrack. This compilation is a powerful source of energy, a medicine for cold blooded people, and thus, had to be called Gator Aid.

Inspired by Brazilian mythology, "Boiuna" is a tribute to the legendary black snake, also known as Cobra Grande. This nocturnal creature is referred to as the most powerful beast of the rivers of the Amazon rainforest. Picturing this mythos, one can already get a glimpse of the powerful and mystic sound that got created. So get ready to dive into a deep and trippy journey, where acid-infused grooves intertwine with bouncy beats.

The Original comes along with two expressive remixes by Caterkarlos and Air Horse One, who have skillfully woven their magic to deliver two incredible remixes that bring an ecstatic deepness to any dance floor that thrives on a strong and punchy sound that leaves the crowd craving for more.

We are thrilled to present our 19th release "Mapinguari," a captivating musical journey created by the talented Brazilian artists Mandruvá and Torstol. Inspired by the legendary creature of the Amazon rainforest, this EP features two unique remixes by Leonor and A-Tweed.

The Legend of Mapinguari: Rooted in the rich folklore of the Amazon Region, the Mapinguari legend tells of a forest-dwelling creature, a hairy giant with one eye on its forehead and a mouth on its navel. Some believe it is covered in brown/red fur, while others say it dons armor made from the shell of a tortoise. This mythical being's origins remain shrouded in mystery, with various versions attributing its existence to indigenous tribes living in the heart of the rainforest. According to certain beliefs, individuals of a certain age may undergo a transformation into the Mapinguari, leading them to seek solace in the isolation of the lush woodlands.

The "Mapinguari" EP combines the visionary prowess of Mandruvá and Torstol, resulting in an enchanting blend of sounds that draws listeners into the heart of the Amazonian mystery. Leonor and A-Tweed contribute their unique interpretations, adding further layers of depth and artistry to this already captivating release. The sonic world of "Mapinguari" by Mandruvá & Torstol will be available on all digital Plattforms from September 15th 2023. Ludviq is the project of Luis Fernando, born in Guadalajara, MX, now based in Barcelona, Catalunya.

Founder of the Mexican electronic label @bonkersmsc since 2018

Directly involved with social and environmental causes in Brazil, Murillo Faleiros is an educator and biologist. Known as mandruvá (@mandruvamusic), the producer and DJ carries in his expression a universal background of diverse musical styles. The artist has worked for major national and international labels, such as Casa Caos, Tropical Twista, AKASHA MX, trndmsk, Cafe de Anatolian, MONADA, Lump, Shango, Baikal Nomads, Kosa, among others. His storytelling aired on different radio stations and labels around the world, such as radiOzora, voodoohop, Deep House Moscow, Mousike and more.

The small boat bobbed on the water, looking for a place to dock before dawn broke. The two brothers scanned the shore before honing in on a derelict cove shrouded in darkness. They couldn't be caught, they had travelled for too long to risk their cover being blown. As they moored up and stepped on to solid ground, they gazed up at the famous skyline before them; a sight they had only ever seen before in books and paintings. This would be their new home; a place where they could make their names known. The unsuspecting city had no idea what they were in for...

Lithuanian-based producer Pletnev returns to local label Le Temps Perdu for his second EP, following his 2017 debut with 'St. Bones'. His diverse productions have taken him to labels like SZE, Fleeting Wax, Meda Fury and Hard Fist, with sounds spanning percussive tools to EBM and leftfield cuts. His forthcoming EP, 'Voranto Bros', features blinding remixes from CockTail d'Amore bosses Discodromo and Biologic Records' Lion's Drums.
